Yes, it is true. Just when you get things all arranged, they move. It is frustrating. If only things would stay still! If only people would behave. (Not me, I am a behaver - that word may not translate because it probably is not a word, but I still am one!) If only I could get all my ducks lined up, as the saying goes ... then life would be wonderful.

Sometimes (perhaps most of the time, actually) we act as if the world is truly a dark matter materialistic realm, composed of solid particles, like little building blocks. We should be able to manipulate the blocks as we please to create our mini towers of Babel in the world just to suit our wants and needs. And with all our cellphones and SUVs and so on and so forth, to a certain extent we have the appearance of just that.

Except that not really do we have that. When we look at everything that is going on in our world, a slightly different picture appears. Underneath the polished technological veneer we find issues with pollution, ever increasing population, climate change, etc. Suffice to say that things are changing quite rapidly. And some of the ducks are practically out of the pond and off into other ponds! Are we the cause? Are some of the big earth changes merely natural phenomena we have not noticed before (at least in the short lifetimes of our present civilizations) ? There is not too much agreement on these questions, as usual.

Here is a thought. Not a new thought, either. The world will not behave, and the blocks will not stay in place for one big reason in particular.

There are paradoxes everywhere in our world. Things do not fit together, yet there they are, somehow together. Some of this and some of that. And our minds begin to spin if we try to resolve them. Sometimes they will not resolve. Particles "wave" in science. What is that? This is the Maya Delusion - The Lila (play) of God. It is not absolutely real. Relativities are all over this place. Look down, there are piles of relative truths at your feet! What to do?

Let your poor, tired mind rest up for a while. And then assure your mind that paradoxes are ok. They are not a big threat. “I am okay with this world of paradoxes.” A good affirmation, especially here in the particle-wave world! And it is okay if people do not agree with me. I am all about regular breathing! In and out. In and out. Keeping the breathing regular. Letting the paradoxes run and play (because they are going to do just that). The political landscape is always going to be a great place to practice regular breathing. Actually, a quiet room, practicing Kriya Yoga is much better, but since this is the world of paradoxes, I know that many people gotta keep watch over the elections. Sooner or later, those blocks are gonna stack up just right, and the perfect candidate will be elected, and the puzzle parts will all fall into place and well ... then what?

I suspect that life will still be just a wee bit frustrating because no matter what happens, or what combination of things happen ... No matter who gets elected. No matter how much money is earned. No matter where one lives. No matter how great the job. No matter how wonderful the wife or husband. No matter how much travelling one does. No matter anything at all! ... There is one frustrating thing that will still happen. And we all know what it is, I think.

Sooner or later, the cooling board is waiting. In case you do not know what that means, it is the slab in the mortuary. A person can own half of the world and still not escape the cooling board. Nothing and no one can help you (or me) get away from it. It is there, silently waiting. And all these mini frustrations are really just little packets that got loose from the big bag. The big bag has the one true frustration in it.

So, a good plan is to lighten up and let the paradoxes flip, flop and fly, which they are going to do anyway. Practice breathing in and out naturally, which keeps the emotional storms at a minimum.

It is a good plan for minimizing the frustrations of life which always come up. They are a major part of the feelings of separation from God (and everything and everyone else)
